In case people wonder about it, there has been some difficulty connecting to yamibo (also to many other websites in China). It is due to the earthquake that happened in Taiwan, that also influenced Hong Kong and some other bay area. It damaged the internet cable under the sea and caused this problem. For example I myself can hardly connect here...


In the meanwhile, the organizers and the other teams are finishing things up, making lists of supportive threads and voting for people's favorite for extra prizes.

To clear things up, Chikane chan winning is final. There hasn't been updates of the pictures, I don't know if it is due to the above internet problem or there is just not going to be any. I'll check with the two creators and let you guys know.

Thanks for everything in these 3 months! And Happy New Year minna!

yea, i was in HK during those times and i could hardly get in here and hotmail. it really sucks.  

anyways, does anyone have any idea of any new shoujo-ai/yuri anime coming this year?? preferablally names please?? well except for kyoushiro.

oh and any cute Chikane pics would be awsome! haven't seen them in a long time...

They are just different storage spaces online. The file uploaded is still the same.

First off, I'd like to say that this is a wonderful site. I'm glad that I can use my Chinese skills to decipher half of what you guys say. The other half I need a dictionary, which I'm too lazy to get....

Also, it's hard to realize what animes you guys are talking about in threads when they're posted in chinese...

Also, all your board names are not very literal....I lol'd at 江湖...Ive seen too many chinese kung fu series

Heh, we understand your predicament. That's a funny post, anyway, and a good first one. Your Chinese seems pretty good.... It took me some time to learn the names of anime at first, but it helps you learn the Japanese names too, there's the advantage. yamiboshiho

hey! welcome to yamibo!! yamiboshiho  about understanding the chinese names(or other things) in this forum or others, i'm in the same situation as you.  when i first joined this forum, i always got lost in the boards because i have no idea what they are, since it's written in chinese.  i'm so glad that i found this english thread. yamiboshiho  in case you have the same problem that i have back then, you can always refer to hayashi's post #111 in this thread. that will help you get around.  but look on the bright side, you know more chinese than i do yamiboqe031  and yes, remembering the japanese names is also a good idea

what's RL? and please at least download Kyoushiro and just see the   second episode preview. trust me on this.  and yea, i will watch kannazuki again since it's like the best shoujo-ai anime ever ~ but i sometimes just watch over the anime that i have already watched simply because i like them. ^^  

oh yea, i recently just finished Bakuretsu Tenshi (i know, it's an old anime) and i don't really like the ending. but i guess it's for the best, at least Meg grew up...

akirahayase, let me take a little time to capture some screenshots and show you how to add a head and signature.  There's a Bakuretsu Tenshi OVA coming sometime in 2007, btw.

First off, choose to edit your personal information. See the first picture. Find the only place you have a drop-down boxes in the top toolbar in yamibo. Click on the 2nd option (see the first picture)

Scroll down all the way to the bottom in the next page. Store your picture at an online album first, for example photobucket or flickr. For head picture, don't make it more than 150x150 pixels in size; 640x480 for the signature. Put the http address of your head picture in the corresponding slot, and you can write in the signature your sentence to say, add a picture or url with Discuz! code. For example <img>your image url</img> for your image, <url=your url of BLOG or something else>description of it</url> and change all above <>--> [].

I'm trying to watch the chinese fansub of Kyoshiro to Towa no Sora right now...

I was poking around, and I must say I'm surprised at how many Kannazuki no Miko fans there are here...Usually the english boards are filled with haters.

Actually what happened was I put on Kyoushirou. I watched it for 5 minutes. I became more and more disappointed. Then I tried skipping through it. Caught the ojisama actions and his overwhelming confidence, and then I really couldn't take any more. It's a sad day when I find the fight scene infinitely more interesting than the dialogue. Sat through all of that, strangely enough.

Kannamiko fans might enjoy tracing the parallels between the two, though. That aspect is a little fascinating....

Seriously? but like what 玻璃瓶 had said, i bet if you go to the english shoujo-ai forum, you'll definetly find a lot of fans there screaming for Kaon ^^  and about the large numbers of KNM fans here, it's pretty obvious since Chikane won the Yuri contest 2006, in case you missed it.

RL= real life ?!  aahhh!!! sometimes there just to many abreviations to remember now. and sometimes i don't even know what they stand for...sigh...  and yea i agree with you on the fighting scenes are much more interesting than the plot.  actually it was kind of cool.
