hiya. this is the first time I see so many posts written in english in this forum :D
I've been a submariner for quite some time tho I do contribute a lil' bit once in a blue moon :p
After reading all 15 pages of comments and replies (phews!) I really get your idea, Night, wanting more ppl to be able to understand the content of posts, and even to be able to reply and interact. But whatever project we do or ideas we have, we need to have a solid proposal and a board of committee (or at least a serious and committed group of ppl) to actually start doing it when the project/idea is to be approved.
It is needed to start doing some initiatives like listing out ppl who are willing to help out in this new 'English subsection' if it's ever possibly being approved by the Admin. By 'helping out' it means doing translation work, trying to hype the subsection, and continuously contributing so that the subsection doesn't exist just for 3,4 days and dies off.
On the content of the 'english subsection', mainly refering to scanlations and subs, i'm not so sure about retranslating the chinese versions to english. Since there are many great sites promoting yuri manga/anime in english, I'm sure these translated resources can be obtain out there too.
Lastly, from my point of view, I have frens who are so called 'Banana' in our community (English educated Chinese who can't read/write/speak Chinese/Mandarin) so if this subsection is ever going to exist I'll be the first one to tell them :D
I may not be contributing much to this thread but I'm just here to state that I'm not against this idea of having an English subsection XD

umm... what about all the fanfictions written in chinese? there are like millions of them. a lot of them are excellent. we can't tranlate all of them.
i was thinking maybe a translation engine or something similar to that

The mere mention of NO-Chinese Speaking corner is already rather negative. If taken in the wrong way, it would mean being anti-chinese in their own backyard.
Secondly, get some help with your spelling. Make use of the spelling error system. When the word is underlined red, right-click to select the right one.
